This role at NVIDIA focuses on designing and implementing innovative solutions for automotive technologies, particularly in assisted and autonomous driving. • BS, MS, or PhD Engineering degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in automotive wire harness design, mechanical designs and thermal solutions
• Ability to source, manage, and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Strong manufacturing and R&D background
• Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
• Capability to quickly learn, understand, communicate and integrate technical concepts and issues

• Design the routing and retention of harnesses, cables, and connectors for ease of assembly and serviceability
• Develop BOMs, wire, and material specifications
• Create and manage CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks and Altium
• Conceptualize innovative solutions for autonomous vehicle setups including compute and sensor technologies
• Work with OEMs, vendors, and partners to identify engineering solutions for Nvidia’s vehicle platform
• Regularly provide project status reports to the leadership team
• Drive priorities to meet expectations of requestors with engineering builds
