NVIDIA is seeking a Senior CAD Engineer to join the Advanced Technologies Group within the Standard Cell team. This role focuses on developing and optimizing standard cell templates in new process technologies while exploring design alternatives for power, performance, and area tradeoffs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and a passion for coding. This position is available at NVIDIA's locations in Austin, TX, or Santa Clara, CA.

• Hold a B.S or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with 5 years of industry experience.
• Have an in-depth understanding of MOSFET device behavior, CMOS layout, and VLSI design.
• Experience working with standard cell design and layout.
• Possess great interpersonal skills.
• Have a passion for providing excellent support for end-users.

• Develop and optimize standard cell templates in new process technologies.
• Explore standard cell design alternatives for power, performance, and area tradeoffs.
• Improve library validation and release flow.
• Write scripts using Python, Perl, Cadence SKILL, and C++.
• Work with cross-functional teams to continuously improve methodologies and efficiencies.
