Job description
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join the Cloud Infrastructure Team within the IPP organization. This role focuses on optimizing software development workflows and supporting the GPU Private Cloud used by thousands of NVIDIA employees. The architect will work on evaluating and developing software solutions, leading projects, and enhancing the performance of AI development systems. The position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact across various software development teams at NVIDIA.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience with 12+ years of systems software development including at least 1 year dedicated to AI.
- Experience in maintaining cloud infrastructure and highly available production environments.
- Strong programming skills in JAVA, Python, and Shell-script with a good understanding of distributed systems and REST APIs.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL database systems such as MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch.
- Excellent knowledge and working experience with Docker containers and Virtual Machines.
- Good background in cloud technologies like OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, and Chef/Puppet.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Solutions Architect for the GPU Private Cloud team.
- Evaluate, identify, and develop software solutions to optimize software development workflows.
- Architect, implement, and support end-to-end CI/CD systems using open-source and NVIDIA proprietary software.
- Onboard internal development teams to the Private Cloud infrastructure.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize AI development and testing systems.
- Lead software development projects and guide a team of engineers.
- Craft and implement critical metrics using various analytics methods and dashboards.
