NVIDIA is seeking an experienced system design Hardware Engineer to join their Silicon Solutions Group. This role focuses on leading system-design efforts to enhance semiconductor quality across various products, including data centers and automotive solutions. The engineer will work collaboratively with architecture, software, and operations teams to drive innovation and improve silicon performance. • 9+ years in system architecture, design, and semiconductor bringup experience.
• BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong fundamentals in digital design, computer architecture, power/timing/fault analysis, statistics, and scripting.
• Deep understanding of firmware/driver interaction with hardware.
• Knowledge of PVT dependencies, binning methodologies, and VF characterization.
• Experience in performance and power management including DVFS, power gating, sequencing, and throttling.
• Hands-on validation skills with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and lab debugging.
• Understanding of fault models, DPPM, quality metrics, and RAS is a plus.
• Established proficiency in collaborative, multi-functional environments.

• Design workarounds and solutions through lab experimentation.
• Develop, prototype, and validate system-level features on existing and new silicon.
• Lead system design in partnership with architecture, software, chip/board designers, ASIC, and operations teams.
• Lead hardware-side debug efforts to root cause feature bugs, silicon defects, and complex HW/SW interactions.
• Develop advanced debug tools and infrastructure to meet aggressive schedules.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and customer teams to resolve feature-related production issues.
