Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its Data Center Engineering team. This role focuses on the structural infrastructure strategy and continuous product innovation to support AWS's expanding global data center footprint. The engineer will collaborate with a diverse team to design resilient and cost-effective structural systems while ensuring high standards for safety and security. • Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of commercial, warehouse, industrial and/or data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience
• 2+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities
• Solid working proficiency in structural design software such as CSI and Bentley Structural package, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and MS Office Suite
• Professional Engineer License
• Experience with building codes and regulations for your region

• Create, review and release data center Structural Engineering improvements and designs for the next generation data center design
• Provide relevant feedback into Basis of Design, prototype design, and template specifications for structural engineering systems
• Serve as a technical advisor for AWS DC design projects including the review of foundation and structural systems
• Manage external architectural/civil/structural design consultants
• Coordinate with internal and external MEP/C/A design engineers
• Lead initiatives aimed at improving cost, quality, schedule, and consistency
• Manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
• Travel for site assessments, internal design meetings, and construction reviews
