Job description

As a Software Development Engineer at Audible, you will play a crucial role in defining and refining technology that enhances audio storytelling for millions of listeners. Requirements

  • 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 4+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience with big data technologies such as AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test software components and applications for Audible's platform.
  • Collaborate on an agile engineering team, writing scalable and maintainable code.
  • Work with stakeholders to envision, design, develop, test, and launch software solutions.
  • Utilize technology to tackle challenging problems and deliver high-quality code on schedule.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Mentor and lead developers, fostering curiosity and deep technical understanding.
