Job description

The Full Stack Engineer will join the Mobile Apps & Messaging Platforms team at Apple, focusing on delivering iOS applications that enhance customer experience. This role involves working cross-functionally with various teams to understand customer needs and develop scalable software solutions. The engineer will be responsible for building tools, dashboards, and platforms that serve both internal and external users. The position requires a strong background in performance engineering and cloud-based deployments.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Performance Engineer
  • Strong understanding of Cloud based deployments
  • Strong experience in Enterprise Class Java Applications and performance tradeoffs
  • Proven understanding of network technologies, protocols and procedures for iOS
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Proven record to lead a complete functional area of an application or product
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Scripting and programming skills in Java, Python or similar
  • Knowledge of JMeter, Gatling, K6 or similar

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with architecture, platform design, and engineering teams to gather requirements.
  • Develop scalable software solutions and build tools and dashboards.
  • Be a key owner of products and tools, ensuring quality solutions throughout their lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and reproduce issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with partners to understand and anticipate customer needs.
