The DevOps Engineer will join Apple's Events, Streaming and Broadcast Services (ESB) team, which focuses on managing and maintaining software development for events and streaming applications. This role involves supporting engineering teams and providing operational support for large-scale backend systems across hybrid cloud environments. The team is dedicated to enhancing the software development lifecycle through automation and innovative technologies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cloud-native technologies and operational excellence.

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in Software Development
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer
• 5+ years of experience in Python or other programming languages
• Experience in Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and Configuration as Code
• Working experience with the SDLC, including Continuous Integration and Agile development practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code systems like Pulumi and Terraform
• Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Grafana, and GitOps
• Experience developing Microservices and REST APIs
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCE
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience with development environments such as Xcode and Swift
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate
• Detail-oriented, analytical, methodical, and creative thinker committed to driving quality forward
• Self-motivated and passionate about DevOps

• Support engineering teams and provide operational support for large-scale backend systems
• Design, implement, and maintain critical infrastructure and automation
• Enhance CI/CD capabilities and manage Kubernetes deployments across multi-cloud and on-prem environments
