The Apple Services Engineering Security team is seeking a Senior Security Engineering Manager to lead a team of security engineers. This role focuses on enhancing security maturity across ASE by collaborating with various engineering teams to protect services and establish a secure foundation. The manager will balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, ensuring high security standards while fostering team growth. The position requires a strong background in security engineering and people management to drive security initiatives effectively.

• 10+ years of experience in security engineering with hands-on security reviews, threat modeling, security architecture, and risk assessment.
• 6+ years of people management experience leading teams of security engineers.
• Proven track record of building and scaling security programs.
• Strong experience partnering with engineering leadership to influence security strategy.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and modern development practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with an emphasis in security-related fields or equivalent experience.
• Certifications like CISSP, OSCP, OSCE, OSEE, etc.
• Background in emerging technology security domains such as AI/ML security or zero-trust architectures.
