The Wireless System Engineer at Apple will work on innovative wireless SoC products that enhance user experiences. This role involves system integration and characterization, focusing on PHY/Radio bringup and performance optimization. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 3-10 years of industry experience.
- Strong fundamentals in RF/PHY systems, signal processing, and communication theory.
- Knowledge of wireless communication protocols such as 802.11 and LTE.
- Experience with radio calibration algorithms and system integration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, C/C++, or C#.
Responsibilities
- Integrate and characterize state-of-the-art wireless SoC products.
- Bring up and debug PHY and radio system operations.
- Optimize performance using communication theory and radio calibration algorithms.
- Use test equipment to identify and resolve issues in silicon performance.
- Develop test automation tools and scripts for efficient testing processes.
