The Marcom Quality Engineering team at Apple is looking for a full-stack Software Engineer to enhance internal tools into a robust quality platform that includes shared services, APIs, and evaluation pipelines. This role involves applying modern AI/ML techniques to improve automated testing coverage and reduce flakiness. The engineer will work within established frameworks to develop components that help scale quality across various projects. This position supports high-visibility launches for millions of customers worldwide.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Node.js or Python, with familiarity in the other.
- Experience with RESTful/GraphQL APIs and automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Jest, Selenium, or XCUITest.
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, including 3+ years in automation or platform tooling.
- Good understanding of Python for scripting and data processing, and proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js for platform services.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and evolution of the quality platform.
- Build and extend components including orchestration, retrieval mechanisms, evaluation harnesses, and APIs.
- Apply AI/ML concepts to enhance automated testing and quality improvements.
- Integrate AI agents, quality policies, and data-driven dashboards into the platform.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
