- Proficiency in Node or Python and the ability to read and write in the other language.
- Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs and automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Jest, Selenium, or XCUITest.
- 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer and 5+ years in automation or platform tooling.
- Strong fundamentals in mocking, dependency injection, and distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Prototype quickly and connect engineering efforts to business outcomes.
- Build and extend the quality platform, including orchestration, retrieval, evaluation harnesses, and APIs.
- Improve the reliability of shared CI/test infrastructure and operate a CI runner fleet.
- Integrate AI agents, quality policies, and data-driven dashboards into the platform.
- Create deterministic test data and manage golden dataset versioning and lineage.
Benefits
- Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
