Candidates should possess strong technical skills and a willingness to innovate while maintaining a high level of customer focus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, an engineering-related field, or equivalent related experience.

  • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Go (Golang), or Python.
  • Understanding of core SRE concepts including Monitoring, Alerting, and Incident management.
  • Understanding of database concepts such as consistency models and crash recovery semantics.
  • Experience managing services on Kubernetes.
  • Experience with EC2, EBS, and Terraform.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to major components of Redis deployment infrastructure.
  • Create monitoring and alerting tooling and dashboards focused on stability and performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers across Apple to define metrics and set targets.
  • Uncover optimization opportunities and define quality guardrails for services.
  • Engage with internal platform customers with a high degree of customer focus.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
