Job description

The Engineering Program Manager will join the Video Engineering EPM team to focus on next generation video technology. The role requires collaboration with multi-functional teams to drive and track firmware and low-level software projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills, along with a passion for developing new technologies. This position emphasizes program management experience and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proven track record of program management experience through all stages of product development.
  • Hands-on experience with AI in the workplace beyond just using LLMs.
  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in program management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivation with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Experience in embedded firmware/software development and ML video processing.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive, plan, and track firmware and low-level software projects.
  • Build development schedules and identify critical paths for project execution.
  • Identify and highlight technical risk areas and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure continuous coordination and communication with engineering teams.
  • Synthesize and abstract large amounts of data into concise analyses that provide key findings and recommendations.
