Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled RF, Analog, and Mixed Signal Engineer to join our engineering team, focusing on silicon development for cellular transceivers. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and a passion for innovation, with extensive experience in RF/mmW and analog/mixed-signal circuit design. This role is critical in delivering efficient designs that enhance user experience and impact millions of customers. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams to define system architecture and requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is required.
  • Direct experience in designing and mass-producing highly integrated cellular RF transceivers in deep sub-micron RF CMOS technology is necessary.
  • Strong understanding of RF CMOS implementation fundamentals and basic building blocks such as LNAs, mixers, VCOs, and PLLs.
  • Familiarity with various RF transceiver architectures and their trade-offs is essential.
  • Experience with RF device modeling and insights into packaging effects and circuit layout for optimum RF performance is required.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following tools: Cadence/Virtuoso, Spectre, AMS, GoldenGate, AFS, ADS, EMX, and layout parasitic extraction tools.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement RF/mmW and analog/mixed-signal circuits.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define system architecture and requirements.
  • Innovate and implement novel solutions for complex engineering problems.
  • Work with production test engineers to build test plans and ensure design for testability.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
