Job description

Apple's Platform Architecture group is looking for a Simulation and Control Systems Design Engineer to develop innovative thermal control algorithms. This role involves modeling and simulating various power, performance, and thermal characteristics of Apple products. Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a similar engineering degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
  • Experience implementing Control Systems in Embedded Microcontroller environments.
  • Experience with coding languages such as C++, Python, or Matlab.
  • M.S. or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Deep knowledge of System Identification algorithms, Estimation Theory, Classical and Modern Control Systems Theory, and Statistical Learning Algorithms.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written/presentational skills.
