The role is for a highly motivated engineer to join the GPU Platform Architecture Team at Apple, focusing on next generation GPU architectures for iPhone, iPad, and Mac products. This position involves collaboration with architecture, design, and software partners to define and enhance GPU power architectures. The engineer will engage in C++ and Python code development, building and maintaining GPU models. This is an opportunity to contribute to high performance products that impact millions of customers.

• BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
• 3+ years of relevant experience in GPU or CPU architecture and micro-architecture design
• Proficiency in C/C++ and a scripting language such as Python or Ruby
• Experience in modeling and knowledge of active power management strategies
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills

• Collaborate with GPU architects, RTL designers, and software teams to assess new hardware and software power features
• Develop and maintain GPU models to enhance power architecture
• Run experiments and report findings on GPU power architecture
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions
• Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative GPU features
