In this lead role at Apple, you will focus on designing and developing Softgoods products that integrate textiles and soft polymers into innovative technologies. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and designers to create exceptional products for the Vision Pro, AirPods Max, and HomePods. The position requires a blend of creativity and technical expertise to enhance existing product lines and develop new offerings. Your work will involve building prototypes and learning to integrate mechanical and electrical components into soft products.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of product design experience with extensive CAD experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred
• Experience with NX software is a plus
• Previous experience in Softgoods and/or wearables product design is advantageous

• Design and build prototypes in collaboration with the Industrial Design team
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to create Softgoods products
• Learn and apply Softgoods materials and assembly processes
• Integrate electrical and mechanical components into Softgoods products
