The Display Technologies Organization at Apple is seeking an engineer to develop new display and optical module architectures for future products. This role involves working within a highly technical and collaborative team at Apple's Module Technology Center. The engineer will focus on bringing new module concepts to life through hands-on experimentation and prototyping. A strong emphasis is placed on planning and executing technology proof-of-concept projects while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a relevant engineering field with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Experience in driving technology development projects in an R&D environment or similar early-phase stages.
- Experience in designing, building, and optimizing customized equipment systems or opto-mechanical systems.
- Experience in process development, performing DOEs, and conducting detailed root-cause analysis.
- Good technical communication skills to drive cross-functional planning and alignment.
- Strong planning, organization, and documentation skills.
- Passion for innovation and a motivation to learn new areas and skills.
