  • Expert proficiency in Python or Node.js/TypeScript, including async programming and framework-level development
  • Demonstrated experience designing and operating distributed systems with strict reliability and latency SLAs
  • Strong proficiency with API design and service-to-service communication patterns such as REST, gRPC, or GraphQL
  • Hands-on experience with multi-layer caching architectures and cache invalidation strategies
  • Extensive experience building systems that integrate with distributed and high-performance data stores like Snowflake or PostgreSQL
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes, deployment, and namespace management
  • Strong observability practice using tools like Prometheus or Grafana
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience building visualization or analytics platforms in a data-intensive enterprise environment
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience integrating generative AI features into front-end applications
  • Experience with accessibility standards and building inclusive UI
  • Understanding of data pipeline concepts and experience working closely with backend/data engineering teams
  • MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and development of the centralized visualization platform.
  • Define how data is presented, experienced, and interacted with across the organization.
  • Build high-performance, reusable front-end capabilities for consistent reporting experiences.
  • Define component architecture standards and own the design system integration.
  • Translate complex data requirements into intuitive, scalable front-end capabilities.
  • Influence the platform's evolution to incorporate intelligent, context-aware visualization.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
