Job description
The Hardware Engineering intern role at Apple involves supporting the electrical and system design and integration of various Apple products, including the Apple Vision Pro, iPhone, iPad, Watch, and Mac computers. Interns will engage in engineering processes that encompass design, integration, implementation, testing, and qualification of electrical sub-systems. Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to return to school at the end of the internship or have the internship as the last requirement for graduation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in camera, touch, and display engineering by designing and implementing experiments to validate new materials.
- Support wireless technologies through antenna design and RF system level validation.
- Engage in ASIC/VLSI tasks including RTL design, verification, and power design.
- Contribute to system development by assisting in electrical system design and integration.
- Participate in acoustics and audio hardware design and system integration.
- Develop embedded systems and low-level microcontroller code.
- Write and debug low-level firmware and drivers.
