Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled RF, Analog, and Mixed Signal Engineer to join our engineering team, focusing on silicon development for cellular transceivers. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and extensive experience in designing RF/mmW and analog/mixed-signal circuits. This role is critical in delivering innovative and efficient designs that enhance user experiences. You will work closely with multi-functional teams to define system architecture and requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 10+ years of industry experience.
  • Direct experience in designing and mass-producing highly integrated cellular RF transceivers in deep sub-micron RF CMOS technology.
  • Ability to innovate and implement novel solutions for complex engineering problems.
  • Familiarity with various RF transceiver architectures and their trade-offs.
  • Deep understanding of RF CMOS implementation fundamentals and basic building blocks.
  • Design experience with digital TX or analog/digital/sampling PLL circuits is a bonus.
  • Solid understanding of bandgaps, bias, opamps, LDOs, feedback, and compensation techniques.
  • RF device modeling experience, including device noise parameters and inductor modeling.
  • Very good knowledge of RF design tools such as Cadence/Virtuoso, Spectre, and ADS.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement RF/mmW and analog/mixed-signal circuits.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define system architecture and requirements.
  • Work with production test engineers to build test plans and ensure design for testability.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and new technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide insights into packaging effects, supply isolations, and high-frequency ESD structures.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
