Job description

The Apple Beats team is seeking a highly-motivated systems QA engineer to enhance multi-functional testing across all products. This role emphasizes the importance of quality in the Beats Apple product experience. The successful candidate will work closely with hardware, firmware, and software developers to identify and resolve issues, ensuring high-quality standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a growing team within the Beats Apple Engineering division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with test execution and developing system test plans.
  • Experience leading QA on multiple products throughout the software development process from concept to market.
  • Possess an understanding of SQA methodologies and practices.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Knowledge of UN*X/Python based frameworks and command-line tools for debugging, analysis, and automation.
  • Experience with or working knowledge of sensor systems and algorithm validation.
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to travel 10% domestically.

Responsibilities

  • Drive multi-functional testing efforts across all products.
  • Plan and execute tests, validate firmware features, and evaluate performance.
  • Investigate architectural improvements and conduct general analysis.
  • Debug and resolve critical issues to ensure product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve issues at various system levels.
