This role is a software engineering tech lead position within the Data Solutions & Initiatives team at Apple. • 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional technical projects and planning roadmaps.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and one compiled language such as Java, Go, or Scala.
• Familiarity with systems architecture, distributed systems, and big data technologies.
• Knowledge of infrastructure, various data stores, and caches.
• Experience in conveying technical concepts effectively across teams.
• Ability to guide teams through iterative planning and delivery processes.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software design principles.
• Demonstrated history of continuous technical growth and learning.
• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Proven track record of architecting and developing distributed systems with big data technologies.
• Proven experience in rapid system scaling, performance, and resilience testing.
• Deep working knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with data modeling and machine learning algorithms.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
