Job description

This role is part of the iCloud organization at Apple, focusing on building software and solutions for partners and the organization. The team aims to empower iCloud operations by simplifying processes and pioneering innovative solutions. Candidates will work on scalable applications and services, requiring a broad set of software engineering skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for technical solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in large-scale cloud services or similar environments
  • Proficiency in Python or Java and willingness to adapt to new programming languages
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of data pipelines and familiarity with Apache Superset for visualization is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Research and evaluate a broad set of technology stacks and modern frameworks
  • Present work collaboratively across team members and partners
  • Tackle new challenges across the entire software stack from infrastructure provisioning to software design
  • Produce optimal results both independently and in a team setting
  • Write technical and design documentation
