This role involves designing and developing hardware systems for future Apple products while working closely with a multi-disciplinary team. The position emphasizes both detailed design work and high-level system understanding.

• BS in electrical engineering or computer engineering
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience focusing on hardware system design
• Strong working experience in electrical design, including component selection and circuit design
• Excellent EE fundamentals and analog design knowledge focusing on DC/DC and power integrity
• Knowledge of embedded processor peripheral interfaces such as PCIe, USB, and I2C
• MS in electrical engineering or computer engineering is preferred
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience focusing on hardware system design is preferred

• Own the electrical architecture and implementation of hardware systems
• Create schematics and be responsible for layout
• Conduct bringup and debugging of hardware systems
• Validate hardware through rigorous testing
• Prototype proof of concepts for new designs
