Apple is seeking a highly motivated engineer to join the GPU Platform Architecture Team, focusing on the exploration of next-generation GPU architectures for iPhone, iPad, and Mac products. This role involves collaboration with architecture, design, and software partners to define and enhance Apple's GPU power architectures. The engineer will work on C++ and Python code development, building GPU models to improve power architecture. • BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
• 20+ years of relevant experience in GPU or CPU architecture and micro-architecture design
• Proficiency in C/C++ and a scripting language such as Python or Ruby
• Experience in power modeling, active power management, and optimizing device power
• Experience with creating adaptive or machine learning-based algorithms
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills

• Collaborate with GPU architects, RTL designers, and software teams to assess new hardware and software power features
• Develop and maintain GPU models to enhance the power architecture of Apple's GPUs
• Run experiments and report findings to improve GPU performance
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance products
• Travel internationally on occasion as required
