Job description

This role is focused on helping the experimentation platform team at Apple Services Engineering by implementing intuitive dashboards for ML Engineers, Product, and Leadership. The main focus is on building robust and scalable data visualization applications that integrate with existing data pipelines and cloud platforms. The position requires a strong emphasis on designing visual representations of data, such as interactive dashboards and charts. The tools developed will be essential for engineers and data scientists to enhance features and experiences for Apple customers.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience developing intuitive data visualizations.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with languages such as Python, R, Ruby, and SQL to query data sets.
  • Foundational knowledge in statistics and uncertainty quantification.
  • Proven ability to write readable and maintainable code.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop visual representations of key metrics using interactive dashboards, charts, and graphs.
  • Collaborate closely with research scientists and data science teams to translate complex analytical findings into actionable visualizations.
  • Build robust and scalable data visualization applications and custom tools.
