Job description
The Revenue and Subscriptions Data Scientist role at Apple focuses on supporting transaction and subscription businesses across various Apple services. Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or digital product analytics
- Mastery in SQL-based languages and proficiency in large-scale data languages such as PySpark
- Proven record measuring user experience behavior, customer engagement, and business impact using analytic tools
- Strong proponent of experimental test and design with practical experience in interpreting observational results
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics or related field
- Experience in a digital subscription business or for an e-commerce platform
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics or related field
Responsibilities
- Understand and optimize the businesses under Apple Services as part of the Revenue and Subscriptions Data Science team
- Help grow the financial, transaction, and subscription health of Apple Services
- Size, measure, and recommend impactful initiatives for business improvement
- Analyze the impact of in-app purchases, subscription renewals, and payment authorizations
- Evaluate transaction efficiencies across multiple lines of businesses
