Job description

The Apps team is seeking a high-energy Engineering Project Manager to deliver new features for Apple's popular applications. This role involves taking ownership of projects and ensuring the successful shipping of products that enhance user experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a passion for project management. You will work closely with various teams to manage priorities and communicate effectively about progress and risks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Engineering Project Management expertise, delivering software and services through a full project lifecycle.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related subject area, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience managing native app development and/or framework integration into applications using Agile methodology.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related subject area, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Previous experience leading a team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver new features for Apple's applications.
  • Balance a wide variety of deliverables while managing priorities.
  • Communicate progress and risks effectively to stakeholders.
  • Build and manage relationships with various teams to navigate delivery dependencies.
