• BS in Biomedical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related field.
• PhD in Biomedical or Optical Engineering.
• 2+ years of industry experience in a related field.
• Strong optical simulation skills using commercial ray-tracing packages.
• Experience with optical design for high-volume manufacturing.
• Knowledge of optical system design for wearable sensing applications.
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of light transport in biological tissue.
• Conversant in cross-functional aspects of system design.
