Requirements
- Excellent software design, problem solving, and debugging skills
- Background in architecting and building data or machine learning platforms
- Experience building on large language models or other generative models
- Proven ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply cutting-edge research into tangible applications
- Deep understanding of multi-threaded programming and synchronization
- Experience building production feature engineering pipelines is a plus
- Experience with distributed data systems is a plus
- Experience with macOS/iOS development is a plus
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams across Apple on training, qualifying, deploying, and serving models
- Design and refine systems and APIs for machine learning and generative AI
- Understand and adapt new model architectures to the constraints of their execution environments
- Work with leadership across Apple to define policy
- Bring industry-leading research to practical applications for Apple products
