Job description

The Platform Architecture Power, Performance and Thermal team at Apple is seeking an experienced architect to enhance the capabilities of Apple Silicon. This role focuses on improving SoC performance and efficiency by working at the intersection of hardware and software. The architect will influence a wide range of features across Apple's product lineup, including the Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Candidates should be passionate about crafting elegant solutions to complex challenges.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar engineering degree.
  • M.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar engineering degree.
  • 20+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience with computer architecture.
  • Experience with power management.
  • Experience with software performance analysis and optimization.
  • Experience with operating system implementation.
  • Experience with power delivery control, thermal management and workload scheduling at scale.
  • Experience with machine learning workloads.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
