Job description
The role involves joining the GPU Architecture Team at Apple, focusing on the exploration of next-generation GPU architectures for iPhone, iPad, and Mac products. The engineer will work closely with architecture, design, and software partners to define and tune Apple's future GPU Core Architecture. This position requires strong analytical skills and collaboration to deliver high-performance products efficiently. The engineer will innovate solutions for GPU processors and memory hierarchies, contributing to the development of GPU modeling and features.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- Experience in GPU/CPU architecture and micro-architecture design
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience working as part of large cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in C/C++ and a scripting language such as Python or Ruby
- Experience with creating adaptive or machine learning based algorithms
- Strong interpersonal skills and creativity to solve design challenges
- Ability to travel internationally 3-5 times a year
- Proven ability to work with complex designs from architecture to production
