Job description

The role involves joining Apple's GPU Platform Architecture Team, focusing on the exploration of next-generation GPU architectures for iPhone, iPad, and Mac products. Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in GPU or CPU architecture and micro-architecture design
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and a scripting language such as Python or Ruby
  • Experience in modeling and knowledge of active power management strategies
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architecture, design, and software partners on GPU power architecture definition and tuning
  • Develop and maintain GPU models to enhance understanding of power architecture
  • Assess the feasibility of new hardware and software power features through experiments
  • Report findings and collaborate with experienced GPU architects and RTL designers
  • Work as part of large cross-functional teams to solve design challenges
