Job description

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience in mechanical assembly through the entire program life-cycle
- Experience with manufacturing processes such as CNC, injection molding, stamping, or forging
- Ability to offer status updates across individual contributors and executive management
- Experience working with vendors to plan timelines for engineering builds
Responsibilities
- Deliver the mechanical assembly through the entire program life-cycle, from architecture definition to mass production.
- Drive the program through the development process by partnering with design, operations, and test functions.
- Create and maintain streamlined program schedules by addressing potential pitfalls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality, schedule, and cost goals.
- Manage the manufacturing and assembly of early prototypes and authorize payments.
- Plan multi-million dollar engineering budgets for prototype builds, accounting for tooling, equipment, material, and labor costs.
