Job description
Apple is looking for a Hardware Engineering Program Manager to join the Camera Technologies team. This role focuses on driving the design and development of early exploration platforms and technology building blocks that influence product architecture decisions. The ideal candidate will lead a multi-functional engineering team through the definition and proof of concept of new imaging technologies. A strong engineering background and experience in managing complex hardware technology projects are essential for success in this position.
Requirements
- BS degree in an engineering field.
- 3 years of relevant experience in early technology development and consumer hardware product life cycles.
- Exceptional program management and leadership skills.
- In-depth technical engineering knowledge to manage projects through early ambiguous definition phases.
- Proven ability to manage multiple global teams and vendors.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of imaging system concepts and design.
Responsibilities
- Lead a dedicated multi-functional engineering team in the development of new imaging technologies.
- Drive the definition and proof of concept for technology building blocks.
- Organize, develop, and orchestrate program plans and schedules.
- Assess and drive technical risks while challenging engineering decisions.
- Bring focus and transparency to complex situations in a rapid development cycle.
