Job description

The Analog Layout Engineer will be part of a dynamic team focused on creating custom analog designs using cutting-edge technologies. This role emphasizes engineering excellence, creativity, and collaboration across teams. The engineer will work closely with circuit designers and other layout designers to ensure high-quality layout delivery. Mentoring junior engineers and driving consensus with external teams are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Full understanding of analog layout fundamentals, electromigration, IR drop, parasitics, LDEs, and ESD.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Unix and CAD environments.
  • High proficiency in interpreting and debugging Calibre results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience mentoring junior layout engineers.
  • Experience in driving and achieving consensus with external teams.
  • Expertise covering both planar and FinFET nodes.
  • Scripting capability to improve efficiency.
  • Strong technical and/or project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Construct layout for a wide variety of designs in various technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with circuit designers to ensure layout quality.
  • Work with other layout designers to deliver the highest quality layout achievable.
  • Mentor junior layout engineers to enhance their skills.
  • Drive consensus with external teams to facilitate project success.
