Apple's Pricing Infrastructure team is responsible for the global content pricing that powers subscription services across 175+ countries. The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will design, scale, and evolve critical systems for Apple's global pricing. The ideal candidate will challenge assumptions and deliver solutions under deadlines while providing technical leadership. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills to ensure a seamless experience for developers and customers.

• 8+ years of experience in crafting, implementing, and supporting highly scalable backend applications.
• Proven expertise in designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
• Expert experience with Java or Scala.
• Meaningful experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies such as Oracle and Cassandra.
• Demonstrated grasp of multi-threaded, asynchronous programming concepts.
• A deep understanding of HTTP and REST APIs.
• Ability to design and establish coding patterns and standards across multiple code repositories.
• Proven track record of re-architecting an expansive codebase while transitioning to new technologies and frameworks.
• Strong background in Unix or Unix-like systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• BSCS or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools.
