Job description
The Apps team is seeking an ambitious Engineering Project Manager to deliver new features for popular Apple applications. This role requires strong technical skills and a commitment to shipping high-quality products. The ideal candidate will work closely with Software Engineering, Design, and QA teams while managing cross-functional relationships. The position emphasizes innovation, strategic process development, and a hands-on approach to product details.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in an Engineering Project Management capacity with a proven track record of delivering software and services through the full project lifecycle.
- 3+ years of experience working closely with Software Engineering, Design, and QA to ship applications and/or frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related subject area, or equivalent industry experience.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related subject area, or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of post-production video editing software and technology.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of project deliverables and ensure timely delivery of software products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and track project progress.
- Innovate on new features and strategize new processes to enhance product delivery.
- Build and manage relationships with various teams to navigate delivery dependencies.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to solve complex problems and lead teams to solutions.
