Job description

The role is for a data scientist in the Revenue and Subscriptions Data Science team at Apple, focusing on optimizing Apple TV and Apple Music subscription services. The team is dedicated to developing insights and solutions to enhance customer experience while ensuring privacy. The position involves analyzing the full subscription lifecycle, including acquisition, conversion, retention, and engagement. The data scientist will collaborate with various teams to deliver impactful recommendations that shape business strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience extracting insights from large datasets using Python and SQL.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply data science techniques to ambiguous real-world questions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in and/or passion for the media and entertainment industry.
  • Experience analyzing the performance of subscription businesses and familiarity with subscription lifecycle metrics.
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
