Job description
The Apps team is seeking a high-energy Engineering Project Manager to deliver new features for Apple's popular applications. This role requires a commitment to shipping exceptional products and involves collaboration with Software Engineering, Design, and QA teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a deep understanding of software development. The position emphasizes innovation, relationship building, and managing deliverables across various teams.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in an Engineering Project Management capacity with a proven track record of delivering software and services through the full project lifecycle.
- 3+ years of experience working closely with Software Engineering, Design, and QA to ship applications and/or frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related subject area, or equivalent industry experience.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related subject area, or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of post-production video editing software and technology.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of project deliverables and ensure timely delivery of features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and track project progress.
- Innovate on new features and strategize new processes.
- Build and manage relationships to navigate delivery dependencies.
- Provide hands-on involvement in product details and problem-solving.
