Job description
Apple's Platform Architecture group is looking for a systems engineer to create high-performance functional models of advanced SoC designs. This role involves bridging the gap between software and hardware, focusing on performance improvements, power efficiency, security, and programming ease. You will work collaboratively with engineers across Apple to ensure that every product performs as intended. Your contributions will help maintain the trust millions of customers place in their devices every day.
Requirements
- BS degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in low-level software, operating systems, or compilers.
- Programming experience in C++ or C.
- MS or PhD degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Experience debugging large, complex system software.
- Scripting skills in Python.
- Experience with assembly language.
- Experience with kernel, driver, and firmware development.
- Experience with modeling and simulation.
- Knowledge of ARM and/or X86 architecture.
