The Product Systems Quality, AirPods Automation team is seeking a skilled engineer to tackle complex engineering challenges and enhance system quality through automated testing solutions. This role involves designing, building, and scaling robotic automation systems to ensure the quality of Apple products before they reach customers. The team focuses on integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components to develop advanced automation equipment. Collaboration with hardware, software, and product engineering teams is essential to drive data-informed decisions and improve validation strategies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience designing and building automated tests and using robotics or mechatronic systems.
• Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming.
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex mechatronic, electrical, and software systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in teams.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience designing and working with electronic circuits and troubleshooting electronics.
• Familiarity with C/C++ and CAD/mechanical design is a plus.
• Ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions and scalable processes.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects without compromising quality.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and practices.
