Job description

Apple is seeking a self-motivated engineer to support the development of a new photonic sensor concept. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to develop highly automated PDK infrastructures and software. The engineer will leverage their technical expertise to explore new strategies in PDK libraries, circuit simulations, and stray light analysis. Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent fields
  • Master's degree in Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent fields
  • Experience coding with object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Matlab, or Java
  • Proven track record of designing and building automated infrastructures
  • Experience with layout, verification, and circuit simulations
  • Experience with photonics modeling and simulation
  • Understanding of semiconductor physics, fabrication processes, and tapeout flows

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of a new photonic sensor concept
