Job description

This role is part of the Wireless Hardware group, focusing on ensuring that cutting-edge wireless and PHY systems meet rigorous performance standards. The team operates at the intersection of silicon development and system deployment, tackling complex technical challenges that shape the future of wireless communication. The goal is to bring groundbreaking wireless connectivity to customers and enhance their connections with devices. Requirements

  • BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems, particularly WiFi, with cellular technologies experience as a plus.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, and/or C/C++/C# for test automation and data analysis.
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
  • Deep understanding of key performance indicators and signal impairments in RF and baseband domains.
  • Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up and wireless system testing in laboratory environments.
  • Proven experience developing and automating tests for wireless systems, including test framework design and implementation.
  • Experience with regulatory testing and certification processes, including emissions, spectral masks, band edge, and power compliance measurements.
  • Proficiency with RF test equipment including signal analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
