Job description

This role is part of the Wireless Hardware group, focusing on delivering innovative wireless connectivity solutions. The Wireless Systems Design Validation Team ensures that advanced wireless and PHY systems meet strict performance standards. The position involves working at the intersection of silicon development and system deployment, tackling complex challenges in wireless communication. Candidates will collaborate with skilled engineers to validate cutting-edge technologies.

Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree.
  • Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems, with an emphasis on WiFi.
  • Programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, C++, or C#.
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
  • Deep understanding of key performance indicators and signal impairments in RF and baseband domains.
  • Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up and wireless system testing in laboratory environments.
  • Proven experience developing and automating tests for wireless systems, including test framework design and implementation.
  • Experience with regulatory testing and certification processes, including emissions, spectral masks, band edge, and power compliance measurements.
  • Proficiency with RF test equipment including signal analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
