The Sensing Architecture team at Apple is focused on developing advanced technologies and sensor modules for a variety of products, including iPhone and Apple Watch. The team is seeking a resourceful engineer and architect to create next-generation sensing hardware systems. This role involves architecting end-to-end sensing systems, including sensor and ASIC requirements, as well as back-end algorithms. The successful candidate will deliver architecture packages supported by modeling and simulations to aid hardware teams in building optimized sensing systems.

• Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Mathematics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• M.S. or Ph.D. with relevant project or coursework experience in designing sensing systems.
• Deep understanding of electrical engineering, transducer physics, and system engineering.
• Experience in modeling complex multi-physics and electrical systems.
• Block level circuit simulation experience.
• Knowledge of signal processing techniques, both analog and digital.
• Familiarity with basics of linear algebra, probability, and statistics.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or equivalent packages.
• Experience in leveraging AIML technologies for enhanced efficiency.
• Understanding of software architecture best practices for complicated tool flows.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
