Job description

This role is part of Apple's CAD Group, focusing on developing an analytic platform for signoff IR/EM analysis. The successful candidate will apply machine learning and large language modeling technologies to enhance design feedback and streamline analysis processes. This position requires collaboration with various design groups and EDA vendors to improve efficiency and capacity. The contributions made in this role will significantly impact the user experience of millions of Apple customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of a BS degree and 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in developing object-oriented programs and writing algorithms.
  • Experience in writing machine learning algorithms and implementing natural language processing.
  • Proficiency with UNIX shell environment, Python, and code revision control.
  • Knowledge in PNR implementation and EMIR analysis flow.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative ML and large language model applications for EDA software.
  • Generate customized reports and dashboards to identify IR/EM issues.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline IR/EM analysis flows.
  • Support and collaborate with design groups on their IR/EM requirements.
  • Work with EDA vendors to enhance solutions for efficiency and capacity.
