Job description

This role is part of Apple's CAD Group, focusing on developing an analytic platform for IR/EM analysis in silicon design. The successful candidate will leverage machine learning and large language modeling technologies to enhance design feedback and streamline analysis processes. The position requires collaboration with various design groups and EDA vendors to improve efficiency and capacity. This is a highly visible role that directly impacts the user experience of millions of Apple customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of BS + 10 years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience in developing object-oriented programs, utilizing data structures, and writing algorithms
  • Experience in writing machine learning algorithms and implementing natural language processing
  • Proficiency with UNIX shell environment, Python, and code revision control
  • Knowledge in some of the PNR implementation and/or EMIR analysis flow
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative ML and large language model applications to interact with EDA software
  • Generate customized reports and dashboards to identify IR/EM issues and recommend solutions
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline various IR/EM analysis and signoff flows
  • Support and collaborate with design groups on their IR/EM requirements
  • Work with EDA vendors to enhance solutions for improving efficiency and capacity
